What Does a Digital Marketing Specialist Do?
The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in implementing cross-channel digital strategies to drive online and offline brand engagement. This includes campaign coordination, performance tracking, and working closely with media agencies, internal teams, and external vendors to support brand positioning and revenue growth.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Coordinate and implement digital marketing initiatives in line with annual brand plans
- Lead SEM, app marketing, and affiliate campaigns in collaboration with external agencies
- Optimize performance across Google, App Stores, and affiliate networks
- Monitor marketing budgets and ensure optimal utilization across channels
- Analyze campaign results and prepare detailed performance reports for management
- Support in defining customer profiles, brand positioning, and audience targeting strategies
- Collect and interpret consumer insights to enhance marketing effectiveness
- Ensure cross-channel messaging is consistent and aligned with brand identity
- Collaborate with internal departments to support campaign execution and traffic generation
- Maintain adherence to brand standards and communication guidelines across all platforms
What Skills Are Needed for a Digital Marketing Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEM and app install campaigns
- Previous experience in the retail sector is preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, App Store Optimization (ASO), and affiliate marketing platforms
- Experience with performance analysis tools and campaign tracking
- Understanding of consumer behavior, audience segmentation, and media planning
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
