Job Overview
As the Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist, you will develop and execute an end-to-end online merchandising strategy across a wide portfolio of fashion and lifestyle brands. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, demand planning, and category teams to deliver a seamless online shopping experience while meeting commercial goals. You will also use data analytics to optimize category performance and site functionality.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and manage the weekly and long-term merchandising roadmap across multiple categories
* Own the user experience and content strategy for category pages, brand storefronts, search filters, sorting rules, and cross-sell opportunities
* Coordinate the digital merchandising calendar with marketing campaigns and promotional events
* Monitor category KPIs including sales, traffic, conversion, and bounce rates; drive actionable insights using tools like Excel and Tableau
* Work closely with brand teams to align onsite experience with commercial priorities
* Implement digital initiatives across SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and social media collaboration
* Optimize app and web platforms for usability, navigation, and conversion
* Plan and execute campaigns including sale events and product launches
* Troubleshoot site and product feed issues with product and tech teams
* Monitor customer trends and adjust strategies to meet regional market preferences
* Collaborate with Saudi Arabia’s local team and conduct periodic visits to gain customer insight
Job Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising or category marketing
* Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, digital media performance, and user journey optimization
* Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, nested formulas, data analysis)
* Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar
* Familiarity with CRM and campaign tracking platforms
* Strong understanding of UX/UI concepts for mobile and desktop
* Bilingual in English and Arabic preferred
* Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment
* Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
