Key Responsibilities
The Interior Designer will help plan, implement and maintain showroom environments according to IKEA manuals and current business requirements.
* Assist with planning in-house store projects.
* Prepare drawings and design perspectives according to the IKEA Concept.
* Use AutoCAD to develop accurate layouts and presentation plans.
* Implement and maintain showroom interiors and product displays.
* Inspect the showroom daily and arrange immediate repairs for damaged areas.
* Support the store\'s commercial calendar and planned promotional activities.
* Maintain showroom areas according to IKEA presentation standards.
* Create functional home-furnishing solutions using approved manuals.
* Help rebuild business areas in response to priorities and performance feedback.
* Support Visual Merchandisers during projects and store activities.
* Design and decorate inspirational room settings.
* Coordinate furniture ranges with suitable home accessories.
* Demonstrate furnishing ideas for different areas of the home.
* Assist customers in selecting practical solutions for their living spaces.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture and possess three to five years of relevant professional experience.
Strong drafting, space planning and interior architectural design capabilities are required. Applicants must be proficient in AutoCAD and demonstrate a sound understanding of home-furnishing products, consumer preferences and current social and fashion trends.
Excellent written and spoken English, creative judgement and a customer-focused approach are essential. The successful candidate should also work effectively with visual merchandising, sales and store project teams.
