Role Context
This role ensures smooth coordination across procurement, warehousing, and transportation functions to maintain product availability and meet retail demand. It plays a critical role in optimizing logistics processes and improving supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate full supply chain activities from procurement to final delivery
* Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure uninterrupted operations
* Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records
* Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages or excess stock
* Oversee transportation planning including route optimisation and shipment tracking
* Manage warehouse operations covering receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
* Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and logistics regulations
* Maintain accurate documentation including shipping and inventory records
* Monitor KPIs such as delivery timelines, cost efficiency, and stock accuracy
* Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate service agreements
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
* 3 to 6 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
* Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes
* Experience in retail or consumer goods industry preferred
* Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
