About the Role
Majid Al Futtaim Retail is seeking a Manager - Projects (Construction) to oversee project execution, planning, monitoring, and control for assigned construction projects. This role involves managing stakeholders, ensuring cost control, and maintaining efficient project execution in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and direct project execution, ensuring alignment with goals, objectives, and work standards.
- Develop and adjust project plans to meet organizational needs and evolving requirements.
- Analyze short- and long-term resource needs, adjusting staffing and resources accordingly.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure availability of project assessments and charters.
- Maintain a cost control system throughout the project, providing regular financial updates to management.
- Collaborate with vendors and third parties involved in project delivery, managing key project risks and ensuring resolution.
- Conclude final account negotiations with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to support a continuous talent pipeline for key project roles.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Construction Management is preferred.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in operations or project management.
- At least 2 years of experience in the retail business or a closely related industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent presentation and problem-solving abilities.
