What Does a Performance Marketing Specialist Do?
The Performance Marketing Specialist supports brand marketing efforts by managing SEM, app marketing, and affiliate campaigns. The role ensures performance-driven digital execution aligned with brand strategy, while tracking results and maximizing ROI.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Manage the execution of SEM and Paid App marketing campaigns in line with brand goals
- Coordinate with media agencies to optimize campaign performance across Google, App Stores, and affiliate platforms
- Monitor campaign budgets and ensure efficient media spend allocation per brand
- Analyze consumer insights to understand customer behavior and enhance messaging relevance
- Prepare performance reports with actionable insights for the Marketing Manager and leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
- Maintain compliance with brand identity and Majid Al Futtaim’s communication guidelines
- Support customer profiling and segmentation to tailor campaign strategies
- Drive synergy across digital touchpoints to improve traffic and conversion
- Brief and manage the execution of marketing initiatives from planning through delivery
What Skills Are Needed for a Performance Marketing Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience:
- 3–5 years of digital marketing experience with a focus on performance-based media
- Experience in retail marketing and app install campaigns is strongly preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Ads, App Store Optimization (ASO), and affiliate networks
- Strong analytical skills for campaign performance evaluation
- Experience with media planning and agency coordination
- Knowledge of customer acquisition funnels and conversion rate optimization
- Effective communication and project coordination abilities
