Position Overview
Al-Futtaim is hiring a Retail Sales Representative - Watches and Jewellery in Dubai, UAE to support sales performance and deliver a positive customer experience within its Watches and Jewellery stores. Overview of the Role
As a Retail Sales Representative, you will contribute directly
to store sales while ensuring customers receive friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Alongside customer-facing responsibilities, you will support store operations, assist with POS activities, maintain merchandise and housekeeping standards, and help new team members become familiar with store procedures.
The position requires a customer-focused approach, good organization, punctuality, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with the store management team.
What You Will Do
Sales and Customer Service
* Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner and help create a positive shopping experience.
* Understand the available product categories and provide customers with relevant product information.
* Assist customers throughout their visit and maintain a consistently high standard of service.
* Follow in-store pricing procedures and ensure customers receive accurate and current information.
* Provide efficient service at the cash register and support the promotion of gift cards.
* Capture customer information as required through established store procedures.
* Thank customers when they leave and encourage them to visit the store again.
* Work toward meeting or exceeding weekly sales goals established by management.
Store Operations
* Support the Store Manager with daily opening, closing, and security-related store procedures.
* Take responsibility for running the store in the Store Manager\'s absence when required.
* Train new team members in Point of Sale operations.
* Support corrective actions and issue resolution at the POS.
* Participate actively in store meetings and inventory activities.
* Maintain a constructive attitude toward the merchandise, brand, colleagues, and store objectives.
* Follow company policies and operating procedures consistently.
Store Presentation and Housekeeping
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment throughout the working day. Carry out required housekeeping activities and help ensure that merchandise and customer areas meet established store presentation standards.
Required Skills
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Good organizational and housekeeping abilities.
* Proficiency in Point of Sale systems.
* Ability to train and support new team members effectively.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Customer-focused and approachable manner.
* Awareness of fashion trends and retail presentation.

* High School Degree or equivalent.
* 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
* Ability to undertake some heavy lifting as required by the role.
