Sales Assistant | Retail | Fashion
The Sales Assistant is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience, as well as handling a variety of operational duties assigned by the store management team. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for fashion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness to ensure a welcoming shopping environment
- Create a positive first impression for customers with an energetic attitude and professional appearance
- Greet customers upon entering the store and provide relevant product information
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise and offer styling suggestions
- Ensure fitting rooms are clean and organized while providing assistance to customers
- Operate the cash register, handle payments, and maintain cash wrap cleanliness
- Capture customer information for the database and offer gift card options
- Maintain stock levels and participate in inventory control procedures
- Monitor store safety and ensure compliance with retail policies
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the fashion industry
- Strong knowledge of fashion trends and customer service best practices
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with customers
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle some heavy lifting
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to drive revenue and customer satisfaction
