Position Overview
Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle is hiring a Sales Associate in Dubai, UAE for a Retail role centered on customer experience, product selling, and day-to-day store support. The position requires a customer-first approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate product knowledge into relevant recommendations that support both customer needs and sales performance.
The Sales Associate will engage customers throughout their store journey, work toward established sales targets, identify appropriate upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and help maintain the presentation and operational standards expected across Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle stores.

Customer Experience Responsibilities

Provide customer service in line with Majid Al Futtaim standards.
* Understand individual customer requirements and assist with suitable merchandise selections.
* Maintain a customer-focused approach throughout each interaction.
* Respond to customer concerns promptly and professionally.
* Escalate matters to the Store Manager when further assistance is required.
* Help create a positive shopping experience that encourages customers to return.
Sales and Product Support
* Work toward assigned sales targets and identify opportunities to improve results.
* Maintain sufficient product knowledge to answer customer questions and make relevant recommendations.
* Use appropriate selling techniques to support high-value transactions.
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products based on customer requirements.
* Recommend, select, and locate merchandise for customers.
* Help customers obtain suitable products from other Majid Al Futtaim fashion brands and stores when merchandise is unavailable in the current location.
Store Operations
The Sales Associate contributes to the daily readiness of the store alongside direct selling responsibilities. This includes supporting merchandise replenishment, maintaining clean and tidy selling areas, and helping ensure store presentation remains consistent with required standards.
The role also requires close cooperation with colleagues to maintain efficient customer service and support store priorities throughout the trading day.
Stock Loss and Security
* Follow store security policies and applicable procedures.
* Remain alert to circumstances that could result in stock loss.
* Handle merchandise responsibly while assisting customers.
* Report relevant security or stock concerns through established store channels.
* Contribute to store practices intended to protect merchandise and minimize losses.
Requirements
* High School Certificate.
* 1-2 years of industry experience.
* Good communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to understand customer needs and provide suitable product assistance.
* Ability to contribute toward sales targets.
* Customer-focused approach to selling and problem resolution.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a retail store team.
