Role Context
The Sales Supervisor plays an important role in supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, team guidance, and customer satisfaction. This role helps maintain strong sales performance, efficient floor management, accurate stock handling, and a professional shopping environment while ensuring the retail team performs consistently during busy store operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the sales team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets through active floor supervision
* Assist customers on the shop floor by providing product guidance and excellent customer service
* Lead by example in customer interaction, upselling, and service quality standards
* Ensure the sales floor is properly covered during peak hours and high-traffic periods
* Guide and support team members to maintain productivity and strong daily performance
* Support store opening and closing procedures according to operational standards
* Handle cash transactions, POS activities, and daily store operations accurately
* Manage stock receiving, internal transfers, damages, and inventory movement processes
* Follow store policies, operational procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
* Assist in staff training, onboarding, and development of junior team members
* Communicate daily sales goals, operational tasks, and important store updates clearly
* Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising standards, and overall store presentation
Ideal Profile
* 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or hospitality with team supervision responsibilities
* Strong customer service mindset with the ability to handle fast-paced retail operations
* Good spoken and written English communication skills
* Basic computer knowledge including Outlook, Excel, and SAP
* Ability to lead small teams and maintain motivation during busy store hours
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
