Position Overview
The Store Manager role at Majid Al Futtaim Muscat oversees daily hypermarket operations to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The position ensures smooth execution of retail activities, strong stock and waste management, workforce engagement, and delivery of a high-quality customer experience. The Store Manager also focuses on developing second-line leaders to strengthen long-term operational capability.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure adequate staffing and resource availability to support customer flow throughout the store.
* Train and develop store teams to meet customer requirements and deliver strong operational performance.
* Build team skills to prepare for future business challenges and growth needs.
* Maintain a safe working environment by overseeing health and safety compliance.
* Drive team engagement, retention, and workforce stability in alignment with organizational values.
* Interact with customers regularly to understand preferences and enhance the overall experience.
* Use focus groups and customer insights to improve NPS and service quality.
* Oversee stock levels, shrinkage control, and waste management across the business cycle.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
* 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in retail store management.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
* Excellent leadership abilities with proven team development and people management capability.
* Skilled in negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making.
* Strong analytical mindset with pragmatic approach to operational challenges.
