GMG is looking for a motivated and experienced Store Supervisor to join its Sports Retail division in Dubai. The role supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager in managing daily shop floor and back-office operations.
* Help achieve store sales and profitability targets through effective planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
* Ensure the team delivers exceptional customer service that aligns with GMG’s brand values.
* Oversee visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and inventory control to maintain optimal store presentation.
* Implement in-store promotions and product launches to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
* Maintain compliance with company policies, operational standards, and UAE health and safety regulations.
* Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and retention.
* Support staff recruitment, training, and performance reviews to build a motivated, high-performing team.
* Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
* Foster teamwork, accountability, and a results-oriented environment among store staff.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
* 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-volume retail environment.
* Background in sports, fashion, or lifestyle retail strongly preferred.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
* Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Proficiency in point-of-sale and retail management systems.
* Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
