Training Manager - Retail Learning and Development Dubai
Role Summary
Apparel Group is looking for a dynamic Training Manager to lead regional training and development efforts in Dubai. This role plays a critical part in aligning employee learning with sales performance, ensuring the delivery of impactful training solutions across all retail brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, people development, and team leadership, with the ability to influence performance at scale.

What You’ll Do
* Develop and implement the organization’s annual training calendar in line with retail objectives
* Lead a team of trainers, providing guidance to optimize in-store staff conversion and product knowledge
* Oversee all training programs across the UAE, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational needs
* Design and update learning content, materials, and delivery strategies for maximum engagement and retention
* Launch in-store and leadership development programs to boost people skills and team performance
* Visit retail stores to assess staff capabilities and provide on-the-ground feedback and support
* Organize and evaluate mystery shopper assessments to maintain customer experience quality
* Analyze post-training feedback, monitor training KPIs, and continuously improve learning programs
* Ensure cost-effective training delivery across the group while maintaining quality and impact
* Plan and manage manpower needs for the training department, ensuring optimal resource allocation
Ideal Profile
* 5+ years of experience in training management, preferably in a retail or customer-facing industry
* Strong instructional design skills with hands-on experience in both classroom and in-store training
* Ability to lead a multicultural training team and support cross-brand learning initiatives
* Proficiency in evaluating training effectiveness and linking development to business performance
* Strong communication, team motivation, and leadership skills
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, education, or a related field preferred
