UAEN Sales Representative | Retail | IKEA
The Sales Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by assisting shoppers in selecting products, ensuring stock availability, and driving sales. This position requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging with customers while maintaining IKEA’s merchandising standards.

Candidate Required: UAE National
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with enthusiasm, assist them in their shopping experience, and ensure they have a positive interaction with IKEA.
- Establish trust and confidence with customers by understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions.
- Provide accurate product information, recommend alternatives, and suggest add-on sales to maximize revenue.
- Prepare pro forma invoices, follow up on quotations, and maintain customer contact to encourage repeat business.
- Maintain attractive product displays and ensure stock availability in coordination with the procurement team.
- Stay updated on market trends, promotions, and IKEA’s product range to provide informed advice to customers.
- Conduct daily inspections of the sales area, ensuring correct price labels and product information tags are in place.
- Monitor slow-moving items and propose sales strategies to improve product turnover.
- Support in-store marketing efforts by staying informed on promotions and actively communicating them to customers.
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in retail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive revenue.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to customer needs.
