Job Overview
The Vehicle Preparation Supervisor will lead and manage a team of car washers and vehicle preparation staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and readiness. Responsibilities include process supervision, shift briefings, inventory tracking, vehicle inspections, and coordination with logistics and facility teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct random daily inspections of vehicles to ensure cleaning quality
* Address and resolve any discrepancies, involving management as needed
* Train car wash staff on cleaning standards and damage identification procedures
* Hold daily shift briefings to communicate targets, updates, and resolve issues
* Maintain preparation volume tracking and reporting based on business demand
* Reconcile vehicle manifests and ensure timely availability based on scheduling
* Manage and monitor team productivity reports and performance metrics
* Oversee inventory and order supplies required for vehicle preparation
* Coordinate with procurement for cost-effective and quality cleaning materials
* Track and report on fuel consumption, monitor thresholds, and maintain records
* Manage Lost and Found logs and ensure compliance with SOP for item handling
* Maintain updated inventory records and ensure aging vehicles follow FIFO
* Ensure all vehicle check-in and check-out system transactions are updated on time
Reporting & MIS
* Submit bi-weekly reports on cleaning quality, fuel consumption, and productivity
* Maintain logs of vehicle status, lost and found items, and supply inventories
Financial Management
* Monitor fuel purchases, maintain documentation, and coordinate with management for monthly approvals
* Ensure efficient use of cleaning materials and maintain stock records
Governance & Standards
* Ensure safety compliance at all parking lots and preparation areas
* Follow standard operating procedures for inventory and transaction management
Job Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive or car rental industry
* Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent qualification
* Knowledge of UAE roads, RTA regulations, and customer-facing procedures
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and operations tracking tools
* Excellent team management, planning, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain operational consistency
