Visual Merchandiser | Retail | IKEA DFC
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring the store\'s visual identity aligns with IKEA’s concept and branding guidelines. This role plays a key part in designing functional and inspirational displays that enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums, perimeter breaks, self-serve areas, Swedish Food Market, and Exit Café displays.
- Implement IKEA’s visual merchandising principles to maintain brand integrity and enhance store appeal.
- Work closely with Interior Designers to create functional and inspiring display solutions that support commercial activities.
- Collaborate with Sales and In-Store Logistics teams to execute projects and sales-driven activities efficiently.
- Support the planning and execution of the store’s commercial calendar, ensuring displays align with promotional campaigns.
- Ensure cost-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly implementation of visual displays, adhering to local regulations.
- Research and apply home furnishing solutions based on local market trends and customer preferences.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong ability to visualize, design, and communicate home furnishing and retail solutions.
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and execution.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Educational background in interior design, visual merchandising, or a related field.
- Knowledge of home furnishing trends, market insights, and customer behavior.
