Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Group is hiring a Visual Merchandising Manager - Retail Stores in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a creative leadership role within the Retail industry. The manager will ensure that store environments follow IKEA manuals, brand standards and the complete IKEA Concept.
The position will lead visual merchandising teams, improve the commercial presentation of product ranges and deliver projects within approved schedules and budgets. Its regional remit supports operations across the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Oman.

Role Context
Effective visual merchandising helps customers understand the IKEA range while encouraging purchases and improving store performance. This role will combine brand governance with commercial presentation, ensuring product displays respond to sales priorities, range changes and stock availability.
The manager will also develop specialist co-workers, maintain safe working practices and support operational projects across several regional locations. Strong collaboration with Sales and Logistics teams will connect visual solutions with customer demand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
The Visual Merchandising Manager will direct presentation planning and help stores convert commercial priorities into clear and inspiring customer environments.
* Improve Market Hall presentations and support add-on sales.
* Lead work-brief development with Sales and Logistics Managers.
* Ensure store visual expression follows IKEA manuals and concept requirements.
* Plan and implement range-presentation solutions.
* Advise teams when ranges change, sales decline or products become unavailable.
* Support the rebuilding of business areas according to new priorities.
* Deliver visual merchandising projects within agreed timeplans and budgets.
* Assist Visual Merchandisers with scheduled store activities.
* Guide specialist co-workers within the Communication and Interior Design department.
* Ensure team members receive equipment safety and security training.
* Manage development programmes that strengthen store performance.
* Build succession plans for visual merchandising positions.
* Participate in recruitment to fill vacancies with suitable candidates.
* Review employee survey results and address areas of low satisfaction.
* Promote a collaborative, accountable and performance-focused team culture.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture. At least five years of experience within an IKEA Communication and Interior Design department is required.
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to lead the planning, presentation and implementation of range-display solutions. Strong familiarity with IKEA visual standards, store activities and commercial priorities is essential.
