The incumbent, under the supervision of the shift supervisor, oversees security personnel to protect private property against theft and vandalism. The incumbent will also ensure the safety of people on its companys premises. Patrol sites by auto or on foot. Performs security service duties through professional and positive interaction with the public, visitors, or employees.
The incumbent will direct the work of Duserve Facilities Management Security Department in accordance with the company legislations, policies, and procedures under the direction of the Security Manager. Act as a first responder for the company in the absence of the supervisor.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining of assigned personnel functions, assist in the proper orientation and training and in-service training programs of all security officers, identifying potential security and safety hazards/risks.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Along with the supervisor, conduct briefing of the team at the beginning of their shift to update them on developments and security related concerns.
Manages personnel scheduling and assignments of employees assigned. Inspects the team to ensure they are wearing their uniforms properly and have all assigned equipment ready for duty at the beginning of their shifts.
Manages the day-to-day operations of assigned shifts and provides training and direction to subordinates.
Responsible for patrol of designated areas to ensure the protection of the public, visitors, employees and property Duserve and its clients.
Along with the supervisor, Investigates and documents safety hazards, incidents and unlawful activities.
Responds to a variety of calls; provides initial direction and support as needed in emergency and non-emergency situations.
Maintaining good public relations by assisting others as a source of information and direction; controlling and regulating traffic and parking; investigating all security, safety, and traffic incidents.
Being observant and responding to potential unlawful activity on site. Patrol site to ensure that premises, vicinity or location are far from any unlawful activities.
Qualifications
Diploma or Associate Degree in security or law enforcement in any field.
Possess a valid UAE drivers license.
Must have a valid first aid certificate awarded by a certified training institute in the UAE.
Good command of the English language both verbal and written. Knowledge of Arabic and other language desirable.

Minimum three (3) years extensive experience managing or leading a team of security personnel in a busy environment.
