InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Your role will include but not be limited to:
Manage phone calls and customer inquiries about the restaurant and menu, while taking reservations smoothly.
Ensure every guest feels welcomed and comfortable, providing prompt and polite service during their meal.
Seat guests and take initial drink orders to maintain an efficient flow of service.
Connect with guests to ensure they’re satisfied with their food and service, making their experience enjoyable.
Assist the restaurant manager with daily operations to keep everything running smoothly.
Address any complaints professionally, working to resolve issues and keep guests happy.
Be ready to assist in various positions within the restaurant as needed.
Ideally, you\'ll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we\'re looking for:
Previous experience in a receptionist role, ideally within a restaurant setting.
Familiarity with restaurant reservation booking systems.
Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
Strong command of the English language.
Have the ability to multi task and effectively react to changing guest needs
A natural and confident communicator both face to face and on the telephone
Organized and motivated and see tasks through to completion
