Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing and cost control
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance
- Conduct contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Perform market analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and organizational objectives
- Utilize ERP systems and procurement software (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, etc.) for efficient procurement operations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Monitor procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Prepare reports and analytics on procurement performance and cost optimization initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or vendor relations
- Strong expertise in procurement strategies, contract management, and cost optimization
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience handling complex procurement projects within large organizations
