This role is part of AECOM’s ADVANCE graduate program and offers structured learning, supervised engineering support, technical documentation exposure, and practical experience on infrastructure projects across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities
* Participate in AECOM’s ADVANCE graduate program and complete structured learning activities that build professional, business, and technical skills.
* Assist in preparing ICT infrastructure design drawings, layouts, and basic engineering calculations using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
* Support the design of outside plant networks, fiber routing, telecom ducting, containment systems, and site-wide connectivity solutions.
* Work under the guidance of senior engineers to prepare technical documentation, design reports, drawings, and authority submission packages.
* Coordinate with civil, utilities, landscape, and multidisciplinary project teams to integrate ICT design into wider infrastructure requirements.
* Learn and apply local standards, codes, telecom guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to ICT and network infrastructure design.
* Support senior engineers during design reviews, technical coordination meetings, and project documentation updates.
* Assist with basic network concepts, infrastructure layouts, routing information, and project design records.
* Contribute to project tasks within agreed schedules, quality expectations, and supervision requirements.
* Develop understanding of ICT systems, telecom infrastructure, design workflows, and practical project delivery standards.
* Build communication, teamwork, report writing, and technical coordination skills through real project exposure.
* Maintain organized design files, calculations, notes, and supporting information for review by senior team members.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
* Recent graduate with 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships or academic project exposure.
* Candidate should have graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024 to meet AECOM graduate program eligibility.
* Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above is required for successful applicants.
* Master’s degree holders should have started the master’s program within 12 months of completing the bachelor’s degree.
* Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for this graduate program.
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
* Interest in ICT infrastructure design, telecom networks, OSP systems, fiber routing, and site connectivity.
* Basic understanding of ICT infrastructure, network concepts, and telecom design principles.
* Interest in professional certifications such as CCNA or BICSI will be an advantage.
* Strong willingness to learn, develop technical knowledge, and work within a multidisciplinary project environment.
* Good communication, teamwork, report writing, and documentation support skills.
