Manager – IP & DWDM (UAE National)
Are you an experienced IP & DWDM Manager with a strong background in network operations and service provisioning? This role in Dubai offers an opportunity to oversee NOC operations, ensuring seamless IP & DWDM network management while maintaining service quality and efficiency. If you have 10+ years of experience in IP and DWDM network management, along with expertise in network monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all NOC operations, ensuring alignment between teams and implementing structured work procedures
- Serve as the primary accountability lead for NOC operations from both customer and internal perspectives
- Ensure service provisioning in IP & DWDM networks is executed according to SLA standards
- Coordinate with integration management and planning teams for network system design and testing
- Supervise 24/7 monitoring of the IP Core Network to maintain optimal performance
- Guide NOC technical leads in performing their assigned roles and maintaining network KPIs
- Follow up with Etisalat teams and vendors to resolve network bugs and service disruptions
- Ensure all planned activities are carried out according to project schedules and operational needs
- Prepare and submit network performance reports, tracking service quality and operational effectiveness
- Monitor and manage IP core network capacity, expanding infrastructure when utilization reaches critical thresholds
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on alarm statistics and fault analysis
- Participate in the preparation of project plans, budgets, and capacity planning
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure efficient network operations
- Ensure O&M team and senior management are informed of major network faults and service disturbances
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support network reliability and operational efficiency
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IP & DWDM network management
- Strong expertise in IP core networks, DWDM technologies, and NOC operations
- Hands-on experience in network service provisioning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning
- Proven ability to manage large-scale network monitoring and performance optimization
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills to drive network efficiency
- Expert IP/DWDM certification is highly desirable
