The Global Director - Technology Vertical Solutions will be responsible for building and executing a strategic roadmap tailored to the needs of technology sector clients. The role integrates data-driven logistics, innovative supply chain solutions, and advanced account support to deliver performance-driven results. As a subject matter expert, the Director will support global sales, shape thought leadership, and ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement a robust vertical strategy aligned with technology industry trends
* Analyze logistics data to identify optimization and transformation opportunities
* Design and execute end-to-end supply chain solutions in collaboration with engineering teams
* Provide subject matter expertise to key account managers and client stakeholders
* Lead the creation of product innovations that enhance customer outcomes and sales impact
* Drive thought leadership via industry events, training sessions, and public speaking
* Align with marketing to produce compelling sector-specific collaterals and PR content
* Ensure regional sales teams are executing strategy with timely reporting and feedback
* Maintain oversight of vertical sales operations and cross-regional account integration
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field (MBA preferred)
* 10+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain roles focused on the technology industry
* Deep understanding of global freight forwarding, TMS, WMS, and ERP systems
* Proven success in developing and implementing scalable, profitable logistics strategies
* Strong analytical capabilities with experience using large datasets to drive decisions
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multinational teams
* Fluent communication and presentation skills for executive and client-level audiences
* Skilled in Lean methodology and continuous process improvement initiatives
* Capable of independently managing multiple global projects in fast-paced environments
