Position Overview
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is seeking an experienced Information Security Business Analyst to support the development, validation, and enhancement of security services, channels, and technologies. This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to align with enterprise security standards and improve organizational performance.
What You’ll Do
* Apply business process improvement practices to reengineer information security service workflows.
* Conduct As-Is and To-Be assessments, identify risks, and ensure cross-departmental consensus on implementation plans.
* Collaborate with Information Security Manager to develop business cases and ensure compliance with RTA architecture standards.
* Facilitate proof of concepts (PoCs) and validate security solutions to meet business requirements.
* Define implementation strategies for new security systems, including data migration and integration plans.
* Support governance and QA teams by preparing test cases for user acceptance testing.
* Capture and document functional requirements and translate them into structured solution documents.
* Produce business use cases, process models, and other documentation to guide system design and deployment.
* Monitor KPIs and perform cost-benefit analysis for security initiatives.
* Research industry trends to enhance information security processes and recommend innovative solutions.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in business analysis and quality assurance within information security or IT environments.
* Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and security compliance standards such as ISO27001.
* Knowledge of mobile and digital user experience improvement practices.
* Skilled in process reengineering, business case development, and stakeholder management.
* Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
