Position Overview
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize the Nol Automated Toll System infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the system while supporting Dubai’s vision for advanced transportation technologies.
What You’ll Do
* Design and implement infrastructure for the Nol Automated Toll System, ensuring compatibility with current and future needs.
* Regularly review and enhance infrastructure effectiveness to align with business and operational requirements.
* Design system, application, and infrastructure architecture, integrating internal and external systems seamlessly.
* Review software specifications and business cases to ensure compliance with RTA standards and best practices.
* Manage and maintain infrastructure for the Automated Toll System and address technical incidents impacting service continuity.
* Implement and monitor security controls, address vulnerabilities identified in audits, and support security compliance processes.
* Lead capacity management, conduct performance planning, and identify resource requirements.
* Oversee disaster recovery processes, backup operations, and periodic simulation tests for business continuity.
* Prepare and maintain Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
* Collaborate with internal teams to support data design, solution architecture, and future improvements based on analytics.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring all technical standards and compliance requirements are met.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or IT from a recognized university.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure management or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 20000 standards, IT service management, and infrastructure security.
* Skilled in risk management, project management, and troubleshooting advanced IT systems.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and effective stakeholder communication.
* Strong technical expertise in ACS infrastructure and integrated system design.
