This is a senior-level role responsible for managing electrical auxiliary systems design and implementation for renewable energy field developments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in offshore engineering, project execution, and compliance with global standards like IEC, IEEE, and DNV_GL.

Job Overview
As Electrical Engineer for HVDC and HVAC platforms, you will lead assigned electrical scopes and deliverables across the full project lifecycle. From engineering design and subcontractor coordination to compliance with offshore standards and safety assurance, you will be the technical focal point for electrical auxiliary systems in renewable energy platforms.
What You’ll Do
* Take full ownership of assigned electrical work scopes related to HVDC and HVAC auxiliary systems
* Develop and review detailed electrical deliverables for offshore projects from early-phase design to execution
* Coordinate with HVDC/HVAC technology providers and ensure alignment with engineering partners
* Lead subcontractor activities and supervise their design and documentation quality
* Respond to technical queries and provide expert input to resolve electrical design issues
* Drive discipline integration during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases
* Promote safety standards and ensure all engineering output complies with client expectations and classification requirements
* Monitor project progress, raise concerns on delays or quality issues, and recommend mitigation measures
* Collaborate with other discipline teams and ensure a unified project execution approach
* Liaise with client representatives in engineering, operations, and maintenance for seamless project delivery
* Utilize software tools such as ETAP and AGi32 to support electrical analysis and design
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* At least 15 years of experience in electrical engineering design for offshore HVDC/HVAC platforms
* Minimum 6 years of proven experience with international EPC or design companies
* Solid understanding of auxiliary electrical systems for offshore renewable energy projects
* Proficiency with electrical design tools (ETAP, AGi32) and documentation systems (ERP, EDMS)
* Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and classification requirements (DNV_GL, BV, etc.)
* Skilled in coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams and ensuring project schedule adherence
* Strong problem-solving ability and excellent communication with stakeholders
* Commitment to high safety and quality standards
