Responsibilities:
Receive incoming deliveries, verifying quantities and inspecting goods for damage.
Unload and palletize goods using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) following safety protocols.
Store inventory in designated locations according to established procedures, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and generate reports (if applicable).
Operate picking equipment (e.g., order pickers) to efficiently select items for customer orders.
Carefully pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper handling and labeling.
Manage and maintain warehouse aisles and storage areas, promoting orderliness and safety.
Conduct periodic inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy.
May assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Report any damaged or missing goods to supervisors.
Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar logistical environment (a plus).
Strong ability to lift and maneuver moderate weights (e.g., 50 lbs).
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in basic computer skills, including data entry and potential warehouse management software.
