Role Context
Inventory Control and Quality Assurance supports the accuracy and reliability of fulfilment-center operations. The ICQA Supervisor will protect this standard by monitoring processes, investigating performance gaps and helping associates follow established operating procedures.
Daily priorities may shift between safety briefings, production analysis, attendance management, associate coaching and incident documentation. The position also contributes to longer-term operational planning by sharing findings, recommendations and successful practices with management and other shifts.
Key Responsibilities
The supervisor will maintain day-to-day operational control while creating an environment based on teamwork, communication and shared accountability.
* Supervise Inbound or Outbound fulfilment-center operations.
* Maintain accountability for safety, quality, productivity and associate experience.
* Establish clear departmental targets and communicate daily expectations.
* Identify individual and team training requirements.
* Coach associates and provide ongoing performance support.
* Monitor attendance and respond appropriately to absence concerns.
* Track production metrics and investigate performance variations.
* Use operational data to develop continuous improvement strategies.
* Present results, risks and recommendations to management.
* Conduct team safety briefings and reinforce safe working practices.
* Document incidents accurately and support corrective actions.
* Review timecards and help resolve attendance-record discrepancies.
* Share effective working practices across departments and shifts.
* Partner with HR, Facilities, Safety and IT to obtain project resources.
* Balance urgent operational demands with longer-term improvement plans.
Ideal Profile
The preferred candidate is a visible and supportive supervisor who can maintain standards without losing sight of the team’s development. They should be comfortable interpreting data, addressing performance issues and coordinating with several internal departments.
* High school diploma or higher qualification.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Relevant experience in a warehouse, industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Ability to supervise associates in a high-volume operation.
* Confidence managing attendance, performance and training needs.
* Strong awareness of workplace safety and operational quality.
* Capacity to communicate expectations and recommendations clearly.
* Willingness to work across Inbound or Outbound functions as required.
