ROLE SUMMARY
The role involves supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax requirements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory mandates. It requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
ROLE PROFILE
Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax requirements for multiple entities & countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax laws regulations in each country.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to gather financial data and supporting documentation for the preparation of statutory financial statements.
Review and validate financial data, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and local statutory/tax requirements.
Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate significant fluctuations in financial statements.
Assist in the coordination of external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Support the resolution of audit queries and provide requested information to auditors in a timely manner with a high-quality analysis.
Put updates on changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in financial reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal, to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial statements.
REQUIREMENTS
Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Has 3 to 6 years of Experience as an external auditor within the big 4 audit firms.
Hold a professional accounting qualification with Dip IFRS or others.
Experience in managing the relationship with external auditors and facilitating remote audits.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
