How You Will Make an Impact
Follow standard operating procedures, specifications and instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
Follow coating recipes.
Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
Adjust set up and process operations accordingly.
Inspect and examine parts in conformance to specifications and check for external defects.
Ability to test coat weights, and functional properties after coating to ensure the production quality.
Load raw material into machine and unload finished product.
Perform tests and check product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices and making some judgments against not readily measurable standards.
Reposition fixtures, adjust components, or otherwise adjust machines to improve coating quality.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Working knowledge with coating processes. APS and HVOF technologies.
ABB and/or Fanuc robot programming highly appreciated.
Technical aptitude is a must.
Mechanical, chemical, or electrical polytechnic diploma/ engineering or Technical Certification.
Previous coating experience is a must.
Must have working knowledge of the use of a PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
