Accurately enter data from paper forms, scanned documents, or digital files into designated databases and software programs.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of entered data by cross-checking with source documents.
Organize and categorize data according to established procedures.
Perform data cleansing tasks to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Update existing data in databases as needed.
May generate reports or summaries based on entered data (depending on complexity).
Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to company security protocols.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or a similar clerical role (a plus).
Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors.
Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Ability to learn and adapt to new data entry procedures and software programs.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
