GRAPHICS APPLICATOR - UAQ
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and install printed Vinyl, Fabric, PVC Banner, Mesh Banner, Frosted vinyl, One way vision etc and apply necessary laminations and mounts on different substrates.
- Do a quality check on all graphics, Compare the printed graphics with the actual print proof, job tickets for any color variation before going to the site and suggest the proper materials to production team if required.
- Take actual measurements of the walls, panels during the moke-up and cross check with the technical drawings along with the designer.
- Study the technical drawings and suggest necessary materials to the production team based on sizes and specs.
- Apply graphics, decals, vinyl, and other visual elements to exhibition displays, booths, walls, and signage using various application techniques.
- Ensure precise alignment, positioning, and smooth application of graphics, paying close attention to details to achieve flawless results.
- Prepare surfaces for graphic application, ensuring they are clean, smooth, and free from any imperfections that may affect adhesion.
- Safely handle and transport graphic materials to and from the installation site, taking precautions to prevent damage.
- Perform quality checks to verify that all graphics are free from defects and meet the company's quality standards before finalizing the installation.
- Work closely with the supervisor and foreman to understand graphic requirements and deliver exceptional results that meet the client's vision.
- Address any technical issues or challenges that arise during the graphic application process, finding innovative solutions to ensure the best outcome.
- Safely remove graphics and visual elements at the end of exhibitions or events, ensuring minimal damage to the underlying surfaces.
- Keep track of graphic materials and equipment, maintaining an organized and well-stocked inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling graphic materials and equipment to ensure a secure working environment.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Applicator or in a similar role with a focus on graphic installation for events, exhibitions, weddings,
exhibitor graphics, fit-outs, Product launches or marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles and a keen eye for detail.
