Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze cost reports and financial statements.
Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records.
Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, inventory, and variances.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting.
Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate costing and financial reporting.
Conduct cost audits and implement cost control measures.
Manage and monitor inventory valuation, including physical counts and reconciliation.
Analyze inventory transactions and variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Provide insights and recommendations for cost efficiencies and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
