Supervise and lead the poolside dining staff, providing guidance and support.
Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during operational hours.
Customer Service:
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
Operations Support:
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the pool restaurant, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service.
Training and Development:
Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
Provide ongoing coaching to enhance the skills and performance of the team.
Inventory Control:
Monitor and manage inventory levels, communicating with the Restaurant Manager to reorder supplies as needed.
Report any equipment issues promptly to the maintenance department.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of daily sales, staff attendance, and other relevant information.
Assist in preparing reports for the Restaurant Manager as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role in the restaurant industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.
