Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with all inquiries, ensuring their needs are promptly met with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide excellent guest service by discovering guests\' needs and acting on them with confidence.
- Work across all areas of the Food & Beverage Department to consistently exceed guest expectations.
- Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful manner.
- Have full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
- Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new staff to develop a skilled and motivated team.
- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance, wearing the correct uniform and name badge during shifts.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage items.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth service.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Previous service experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs while maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
