Salary - 20.000 - 25,000 AED/month
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.
Ensure the efficient and timely processing of orders, including picking, packing, and dispatching.
Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Inventory Control:
Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
Implement inventory control systems and technologies to track stock movements and manage inventory data.
Staff Supervision and Development:
Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
Promote a positive work environment and provide ongoing support and development opportunities for team members.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling and storage of materials.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
Implement and enforce safety procedures and training programs to maintain a safe working environment.
Process Improvement:
Analyze warehouse processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement.
Equipment and Maintenance Management:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and shelving systems.
Ensure that equipment is used properly and maintained in good working condition to prevent downtime.
Coordinate with maintenance teams or vendors for any required repairs or upgrades.
Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and sales, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding order status, inventory levels, and any issues that arise.
Resolve any operational issues or customer concerns related to warehouse activities.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational issues to senior management.
Ensure that all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
