What you do:
The Distribution Marketing Manager, Partner & Product Marketing will support a new business venture at Allianz Life. The purpose and vision of this business is to enable more Americans to access lifetime income in retirement through their 401(k) plan. This new role reports into the Head of Marketing, Employer Markets and will support business strategies and objectives with exceptional marketing support. You will report to the Sr. Director of Employer Markets.
Key to our strategy is partnering with recordkeepers, managed account providers and middleware firms to deliver our in-plan income solution to plan sponsors and participants. Our product is differentiated by its design flexibility and that flexibility requires a marketer who can assess the variations in the product implementation and tailor marketing and communications content to meet the needs of multiple B2B and B2C audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and manage marketing initiatives such as:
Support the execution of partner and plan-level strategic plans including, content development, campaigns, training and communication plans
Effectively track and document the location of content, its different versions, and expiration dates, for enhanced organization and efficiency
Stay informed about product changes and enhancements, while also maintaining a deep knowledge of the marketing library. This will ensure prompt and efficient execution of any necessary modifications, ensuring that changes to materials are implemented swiftly and accurately.
Create product and campaign collateral from ideation, creative briefs, copywriting, manage review process to promotion.
Collaborate with Creative, Compliance and Legal teams to develop approved content
Partner with Digital teams to deliver content across microsites
Work with partners to ensure approvals are granted on their end
Support any firm approvals of marketing materials
Ensure accurate analytics design, measurement and reporting of results and comfortable applying a learning mindset
Foster strong relationships with marketing partners and key stakeholders across the organization
Build and reinforce the Allianz brand
What you bring:
6+ years of experience required including solid experience in annuity marketing and distribution
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and short timelines
Curiosity about the customers and families we serve and a commitment to use those insights to improve the marketing content and journeys
Flexibility and willingness to fill gaps as they emerge
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Some experience with marketing and distribution-focused technology tools required i.e. Marketo, Responsys, Seismic & Salesforce
Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel & PowerPoint) and PowerBI
