As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Take and relay messages accurately and efficiently.
Assist guests with inquiries and resolve issues or complaints.
Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor at all times.
Handle wake-up calls and special requests from guests.
Monitor and manage phone systems and equipment.
Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless guest service.
Maintain confidentiality and protect guest information.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or communication is a plus.
Previous experience in a customer service or telephone operator role preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills with a clear and pleasant speaking voice.
Proficient in using telephone systems and related technology.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
