The essential details of the position are outlined below. You will also be tasked with looking after production, supply chain and quality.
-Coordinate activities of departments such as manufacturing, engineering, planning, maintenance, supply chain, R&D, Quality and Stores /warehouse to effect operational efficiency and economy
-New projects/ building R&D management
-Budget and cost control management
-New process and systems development
-Plant expansion and long term investment management
-Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures
-Responsible for effective handling of major import/export activities
-Health safety and environment procedures compliance
-Participates in the planning and formulation of company strategy and the implementation of departmental action plans
-Manages and appraises staff
Requirements
- Min. 5 years experience in similar position
- Min. 5 years sheet metal experience
- University degree
- ERP systems (ie Oracle, SAP)
- Knowledge of Industrial Safety
- Knowledge of Quality control
- Good in MS Office knowledge
- Presentation skills
