ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implements the ABU sales strategy, implementation plan, coordination and monitoring for the ABU's overall profitability and alignment with the Food Service Division objectives
Lead from Front approach with closing business deals with key clientele; including contract negotiation, items approvals, credit terms negotiation and distribution schedules
Prepares sales forecasts and monitor the sales team's performance in achieving the defined Sales objectives for new and existing business
Responsible to allocate, book, forecasting appropriate stocks for the ABU whilst ensuring filtration process of forecasting from the Sales team; work closely with the Category Manager/ Procurement Team to ensure stock availability in place for clients
Ensuring Sales team follow a balanced focus approach with all product categories - not only easy-sell, easy-volume categories, ensuring healthy product mix across all categories of the Division
Liaise, align closely with FS Sales and Marketing Manager to determine selling prices for product lines and items.
Assigning and monitoring Monthly Sales and Business Plan, tracking and accountability for actual Sales personnel with the ABU.
Participates in management reviews of the ABU overall performance
Ensuring ABUs Sales team's adherence to the client Credit Terms Agreement and overall ABU receivable targets are achieved
Collate and report market trends / opportunities; gather competition activity information to ensure assigned ABU remains ahead in the market
Identify new and/or opportunistic applications and ideas in addition to cultivating relationships with current and target customers.
Facilitate team-based leadership concepts including open communication and continuous improvement.
Work closely with the Category Management team, Procurement and Planning Team, Invoicing Team, Logistics Team, HR Team, IT teams, and Customer Service team to develop innovative, cost effective, solutions that assist in overall achievable of the ABUs objectives
Ensuring all the necessary tools are in order for the ABUs personnel including the reports' structure, daily/ weekly/ monthly dashboard, Performance Metrics, training interventions
Ensure Performance Appraisals of the assigned ABUs personnel, continuous coaching and guidance towards personal and career development
Building, leading and setting the pace and example as leader, coach, and mentor to further build and strengthen the culture/skills of the team.
Any other duties / projects assigned by the Sales and Marketing Head from time to time to meet business needs.
Ensuring each team member in your division is motivated all along the period.
