Job Purpose
The purpose of this job is to be the lead on Employee Relations to ensure employees receive a client focused, proactive, effective & professional HR service throughout the employee lifecycle
Key Accountabilities
Manage Employee Relations issues by supporting employees, Managers, Business and Division heads and provides expert advice on human resource management issues
Provides both advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders of HR on employee process and policy issues
Provides internal consulting and strategic direction on a variety of complex, sensitive and confidential human resource issues, including working with External Agencies and Legal, Audit and Compliance Division to enable successful legal and compliant resolution
Manages, directs and participates in the development of Group wide human resources policies, guidelines and practices to ensure successful employee dispute resolution within the boundaries of FAB's policies
Lead and manage the employee grievance and disciplinary framework including:
HR participation in compliance, risk and fraud investigations and interviews
Leading the employee behavioral disciplinary panels, establishing investigation team, and bringing to conclusion
Ensure all legal and regulatory obligations are met in relation to Employee Relations
Ensure all legal and regulatory changes with respect to labor law is incorporated in Bank's framework.
Manage and Govern Banks authorized signatures ensuring the framework is aligned and regular reviews are initiated.
Work on process enhancement to align ER on an international platform, by enhancing current processes
The role holder will be expected to assist key stakeholders (primarily: Their Business Line, Compliance Control Room and Group HR) to ensure Conflicts of Interest and FABs Code of Conduct policies and protocols are upheld. The role holder will also partner and advise the aforementioned on; conflicts management, policy, process, procedure and breach escalation, including but not limited to core themes such as; Gifts, Entertainments, Personal Account Dealing, Outside Business Interests/Activities, Material Deals and Information Walls

Timely preparation of reports

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) or any related discipline.
Minimum Experience
5-8 years' relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the HR function.
