Who we're looking for:
We are seeking an English Copywriter to join our team and contribute to the development of big ideas while bringing campaigns to life through exceptional verbal communication. As an English Copywriter, you will be responsible for concepting, writing, producing, and directing brand and campaign solutions for all levels of creative and marketing projects.
What you'll be doing:
Deliver strategically sound conceptual thinking and high-quality copywriting across all the brand's channels, including print, ecommerce, digital, social media, product, naming, among others.Manage, mentor, and direct at least one other copywriter to ensure the brand's tone, vision, and direction stays on course while helping them quickly grow their career.
Provide new creative thinking and high-level storytelling across all agency needs, including integrated campaigns, print ads, mailers, postcards, website assets, landing pages, emails, digital banners, social media, etc.
Effectively present your own ideas and rationale for writing, concepts, and creative in an effective and persuasive manner, both internally and externally.
Demonstrate organized thinking by arranging work into presentations that communicate information effectively and efficiently.
Consult with the ECD, Creative Director, as well as ACD, Art Directors, production, and marketing team as necessary to achieve brand/marketing objectives.
Develop verbal campaign elements using scripts, headlines, copy, etc.
Brainstorm ideas with Planning, Account Management, and the creative teams to assist in creating and developing concepts.
Provide creative ideas that fit clients' needs.
Conduct basic research to stay up to date with the latest communication trends.
Develop an understanding of clients' business, brands, and consumers.
Supervise and train junior members of the Creative team.
What you'll need:
BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Art.
2 to 3 years of professional experience in the marketing/creative industry.
Online portfolio that demonstrates your storytelling, copywriting, and conceptual thinking abilities.
Ability to meet all required deadlines, both internal and external, with minimal supervision.
Must have experience working in a creative team environment.
Ability to manage and direct other Copywriters (internally and externally).
Ability to present one's own work successfully.
Exhibits a fun-loving attitude and pride in the process of making and selling great work.
