Job Summary:
Responsible to ensure efficient operation of all machines and equipment by maintaining and repairing as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
Maintain all manufacturing machines and equipment to operate efficiently. (Include: Extruders, pullers, vacuum system, chillers, silos, suction system, rotatory winders, compressors, boilers, pumps, ovens, hydraulic systems, etc.)
Maintain the facility, when it calls in support as required like Plumbing, AC, etc.
Should be able to trouble shoot mechanical related problems and resolve it.
Install new machines/equipment and fabricate Jigs/fixtures as required.
Should be able to work on basic machines in machine shop.
Maintain records of each machine separately, related to all maintenance activities, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, etc.
Maintain required inventory of spares, for cost effective operation.
Plan, schedule and complete "Preventative Maintenance Program".
Coordinate for special projects as directed by the supervisors/ Manager.
Assist in monitoring all works being performed by outside contractors.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service calls.
Ensure proper housekeeping and control of machines and equipment.
Comply with all Company and HSE related policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical components and control systems of solids control equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, including motor failures, wiring problems, and control panel malfunctions.
Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Key
High school diploma or Technical mechanical education.
Effective communication (ability to report and communicate).
Minimum 3 years of experience working as an industrial technician, preferably in middle east.
Strong computer skills (Outlook & MS office).
Good in English language - ability to communicate with ease. (Arabic language would be added advantage)
Experience & Knowledge working with QMS.
