The operator position performs all tasks on the production line under the supervision of skilled operators and Team Leaders.
Production process - Spoolable composite line pipe (RTP) and (RTR) filament winding.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
Assist in machine set up as per production process run sheets.
Load and unload raw materials during preparation and production process.
Assist resin mixing in accordance to the procedures and maintains resin levels in baths.
Performs visual and manual measurement inspections and records results. Alerts Team Leader to defects that are outside acceptable limits.
Cleaning and prepares ovens after every run.
Operate equipment that will cut, grind, bevel and test fiberglass pipes to it into finished product.
Mix various adhesive, resins, coating and painting compounds used in the finishing &/or assembly process.
Cut parts to be assembled.
Fit, sand, assemble and bond parts into assemblies to complete customer orders.
Maintain and record specified tolerance/ dimensions as required on the manufacturing & Inspections reports and for accurate inventory management.
Required to operator process related machines, Pallet truck and Forklift.
Work in process extreme temperature.
Cleaning of machine parts after every run.
Performs other duties as assigned by skilled operators and/or team leaders.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Key
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Ability to learn quickly.
Should be able to communicate in English. Arabic speaking is added advantage.
Qualification: High school or equivalent.
Experience working in a plant or manufacturing facility preferred.
Minimum 1 years of experience in production units
Dexterity required for operating machinery and computer.
Team work - Should be detail-oriented and organized.
Forklift driving experience would be preferred.
Practice good housekeeping by maintaining a clean work environment.
