Specialist Social Media and Digital Job Vacancy in UAE Dubai
Core Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Manager of social media, the social media & Digital Specialist is pivotal in overseeing and delivering a wide range of services, including management of social media platforms, creative content creation, social media strategies, and reporting. This position also serves as a back-up to the Manager of social media during their absence.
This role is ideal for a creative and strategic thinker who is well-versed with the latest trends and technologies in social media. He/she follows conversations on the internet while interacting with the public at the same time, unable to predict what other users will say. The specialist is responsible for monitoring trending hashtags and topics while finding unique ways to integrate them into the brand. He/she is responsible for tracking whether or not social marketing efforts have been successful through goal setting with markers for identifying success through various online analytical tools.
Supporting Accountabilities
-Assist the Manager of Social and Digital Media in the design and implementation of social media strategies and campaigns that define how social media marketing techniques will be applied across the Group to increase visibility and traffic across all Group companies and products.
-Curate, edit, publish and share creative content for different social media and digital platforms.
-Manage and monitor social media platforms and create weekly or monthly analytics reports.
-Perform research on the latest audience preferences and the benchmark trends in the defence and advanced technology industry.
-Define specific objectives and monitor ROI against specific audience segments
-Suggest new ways to promote brand awareness and stay current with social media trends and tools.
-Collaborate with the social media, communications and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
-Analyse key metrics using the latest management tools to boost brand and product awareness.
Experience and Education:
Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in social media or digital communications at a major organization, or within a seconded agency team at a major organization, preferably with a technology focus.
Bachelor's in digital marketing or a relevant field.
Key Skills:
-In-depth knowledge and application of content marketing theory

-Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences and how to use them to maximise branding and marketing efforts
-Exceptional time management skills and interpersonal relations
-In-depth knowledge of analytics software, content management systems and SEO tools
-Knowledge of key social media metrics with the ability to track for progress.
-Be a team player, creative, storyteller, empathetic, motivated, with good presentation and interpersonal skills
-Excellent level of written and spoken English with Arabic/and or another language
-Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including GMB, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
-Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO
