Specialist Social Media and Digital Job Vacancy in UAE Dubai
Reporting to the Manager of social media, the Senior Social Media Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing and delivering a wide range of services, including high-level management of social media platforms, influencer engagement, large scale campaigns, media buying, creative content and social media strategies, and advanced social media analytics. This position serves as a key back-up to the Manager of social media and assumes additional leadership responsibilities during their absence.
This role is designed for a highly experienced, creative, and strategic thinker who remains well-versed with the latest trends and emerging technologies in social media. He/she will be proficient in collaborating with various internal departments, external stakeholders, and external influencers to amplify the brand voice and ensure effective communication strategies. The position will involve overseeing larger-scale projects and taking the lead on media buying strategies to optimize campaign reach.
Supporting Accountabilities
-Assist the Manager of Social and Digital Media in the development and execution of social media strategies and campaigns that define how advanced social media techniques will be applied across the Group.
-Manage and monitor relationships with influencers, securing partnerships that align with the brand's values and goals.
-Manage and monitor media buying activities, developing strategies to optimize spending and enhance campaign performance.
-Curate, edit, publish, and share high-quality, innovative content for multiple social media and digital platforms.
-Define and monitor specific campaign objectives and KPIs, analyzing results and adjusting tactics based on performance data. Stay ahead of emerging trends and tools, integrating them into existing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
-Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and other teams to ensure brand alignment and effective campaign execution.
Experience and Education:
-Minimum of 7 years of proven work experience in social media, digital communications, and influencer engagement at a major organization or leading agency, preferably with a focus on advanced tech.
-A bachelor's in digital marketing or a relevant field.
Key Skills:
-In-depth expertise in designing and applying advanced content marketing strategies and social media campaigns.
-Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee the execution of large-scale, high-impact campaigns.
-Proven experience with influencer engagement, including identifying the right partnerships and ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
-Advanced knowledge of media buying, with the ability to plan, execute, and measure paid social strategies.
-Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including influencers, agencies, and senior leadership.
-Demonstrated success in using analytics and performance data to adjust campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
-Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
-Expertise in a range of social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and newer platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest.
-Knowledge of social media analytics, KPI tracking, SEO tools, and content management systems.
-Fluency in both written and spoken English, with additional proficiency in Arabic or another language preferred.
