KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support Avon\'s FSQ programs through various analytical testing, physical auditing, verification and administrative duties.
Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sanitation program compliance through daily and monthly verification and audits.
Support plant HACCP program implementation through record verification.
Partner with operation managers, team leaders and Quality Engineers to support production, decision making, issue management and risk assessment.
Manage hold orders and plant sensory program.
Provide training in the area of food safety, regulatory, sanitation and quality measurement systems to appropriate plant personnel.
Support additional FSRA (Food Safety & Regulatory Assessment) and plant activities as assigned.
Be trained as a primary back-up to the flour lab technician responsible for flour quality monitoring and specification compliance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED
2-year Associate’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
Analytical lab experience of 1 to 3 years
Bias for action and results
Self-motivated
Demonstrates effective time management, organizational skills, and informed decision making
Provides clear and concise communication
Ability to develop mutual trust with plant employees and be part of constructive, positive change within a plant environment
Computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn internal computer programs
Willingness and ability to flex work hours as needed and adapt to change job requirements
