We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Regional General Manager Operations to lead and drive business profitability for Marks & Spencer MENA. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing sales, managing costs, and ensuring an exceptional customer shopping experience across all stores. You will play a critical role in supporting team growth, maintaining high retail standards, and delivering a brand-aligned customer experience that fulfills our customer promise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Drive the retail agenda in line with commercial priorities, securing long-term business direction and contributing insights for overall business performance.
- Lead retail strategy to maximize daily commercial opportunities, driving both sales growth and profitability aligned with business objectives.
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency across all stores to enhance customer experience and performance.
- Ensure consistent adherence to high operational standards and compliance with local regulations in all store operations.
- Oversee and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet market/region-specific commercial compliance and process requirements.
- Champion a customer-centric approach to enhance and maintain high standards in the in-store experience.
- Collaborate to gather insights and refine strategies for effective marketing and branding of new and existing products.
- Foster brand values and consistent practices across all stores, ensuring alignment with Marks & Spencer standards and corporate governance.
- Collaborate closely with the brand principal to strengthen partnerships, address challenges, and drive commercial priorities.
- Benchmark people KPIs with HR to drive productivity and hold line managers accountable for performance and continuous improvement.
- Identify critical roles and develop talent for succession planning, ensuring business continuity.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience of leading retail and commercial operations in a sizeable retailer with extensive technical knowledge in Food and Clothing.
- Strong commercial knowledge in Clothing and Food, with an in-depth understanding of diverse business functions (e.g., buying, supply chain, finance, customer service).
- Strategic, analytical, and tactical abilities with a strong commercial acumen.
- Budget management skills with a focus on value for money/return on investment.
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capability to inspire and lead teams by example.
- Ability and experience in setting, monitoring, and reporting against targets to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering Best in Class Customer Service, Store Standards, and Operational Excellence.
