ROLE SUMMARY
The Commercial Executive will lead and assist in the commercial management of projects within Majid Al Futtaim Properties, reporting on project status to Senior Project Team and Development Managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness and a background as a Graduate or Chartered Quantity Surveyor, with experience in cost planning, procurement, project cost control, cash flow management, and cost reporting for development projects.
ROLE PROFILE
Support Delivery Team in all commercial aspects of projects.
Develop projects through control documents and instructions from senior management.
Assist in preparing feasibility studies and initial briefings for consultants.
Enhance project delivery strategies for design, construction, and operations.
Establish best practices for cost management, including benchmarking and risk management.
Manage cost planning, reporting, change management, and contract close-out.
Facilitate cohesive project teams, liaising with Finance and Development Management.
Oversee procurement processes, contract administration, and final account close-out.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
Experience: Graduate or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Project Skills: Expertise in cost management, planning, modeling, and benchmarking; value management and auditing; spatial analysis.
Behavioral Competencies: Communication, Time Management, Leadership, Commercial Awareness, Ethical Integrity, Customer Focus, Delivery Orientation
Knowledge Base: Financial literacy, legal and contract awareness, procurement processes, local regulations.
