Job Description
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Ensures all work follows safe work practices and procedures
Responds immediately to all work requests which concern Health and Safety
Ensures environmentally friendly practices are followed when handling chemicals, lubricants, and finishing products
Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner
Assists in maintaining the working condition of the building structure; building operations systems, equipment and controls; technical equipment of other departments; maintenance conditions in guest rooms, public spaces, BOH/service areas, function areas, and offices
Completes all work orders with due diligence
Maintains a daily log book highlighting problems and solutions; and activities
Maintains equipment catalog and the various systems' directories
Actively participates in the monthly departmental meeting by providing feedback and offering suggestions for improvement
Completes tasks as assigned by Duty Engineer
Maintains health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area
Reports and documents potential safety hazards
Participates as directed in the emergency response team
Qualifications
Previous experience required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all time
